I also think it's notable and cool that it has full IMSA branding. That hasn't always been the case with these sorts of things and it's awesome.

Admittedly a fair number of racing series would be improved by allowing cars to fire paintballs at each other.

Mega Monsters was a bat-! crazy idea for a scripted monster truck series where each truck would have either a "gunner" or a cannon to shoot paintballs at the other trucks. Heel and face trucks, etc. Pitched in 1993 at the height of American Gladiators. Monster Wars beat it to the punch.
