My introduction to Dan was via Philadelphia Will Do, the blog he wrote for on of the Philly alt-weeklies back in the mid-00s. Pretty sure I clicked through to The Comics Curmudgeon for the first time when he blogged about something crazy happening in the Popeye daily strip.
