Facts care about my feelings.
God I love this party so much. We must cherish them, they are bringing so much joy in these tough times

This is why it’s very puzzling (and depressing) that the current government didn’t make fixing the criminal justice system a priority. It’s an area where relatively little money would sort it out, it’s not a money pit and you’d see almost instant results

All hail the cursed ratio

So close to another glorious 52%-48% result

If Greece were a former Warsaw Pact country, at least one of them would now be a centrist free market party

Ironically nothing to do with Chelsea (partners of my other half’s friends). Even weirder is they are all second generation immigrants

Personally I think that’s a bit of terminal lucidity wrt Kemi, but the broader point is true

It is kind of incredible how both parties have had “our polling numbers go up when we go studs up on Nigel, particularly on Russia” moments in the past 18 months and their conclusion is continuously “must be nicer to Nigel”

It fits with my longstanding view that a far-right, pro-EU party (ie the Jeremy Clarkson party) would absolutely sweep the board in this country

Anecdotal but I have some acquaintances who are *Tommy Robinson* fans (long story) but also say Brexit was a terrible idea and we should rejoin the EU. Cannot be understated how fringe being pro-Brexit is among working age people

This is part of the wider flaw in his ideology, which is this fundamentally naive belief in taking people at face value about their views. If your focus group insists their dislike of immigration has nothing to do with race, it’s worth asking follow up questions rather than just assuming it’s true

Another interesting one imho is that in contrast to Biden, Obama never had one team win successive titles during his two terms

Not every president served a full term though

IIRC they clamped down quite hard on AWL members in particular, as I remember some people who were openly Trotskyists whingeing about being purged by open Stalinists (Milne and Murray)

Lowe or Kristi Noem

There’s an irony to the fact that as many different teams wonder the English top flight under GHWB as did under both Clinton and Dubya

A quick google search says that Burnley and Liverpool both won the first division during Harding’s presidency

It’s why things like the law conversion course are good - I didn’t do a law undergraduate, but my experience of talking with people who did is at least half the students there were kids who weren’t really interested in law but were told they should do it
