The Federalist Society was founded in 1982 in direct response against recent SCOTUS decisions favoring minorities, women, & working class.

The scariest part of their plan to me is the registry gleaned from health (and likely SSA and other) records & the designation of all trans people as "mentally unstable". But that's largely being ignored because guns make better headlines.

Registry’s like this do impact your life. Shit like this can show up on background checks, medical charts, and more. If you have “mentally unstable” in your medical records doctors treat you differently, insurance will flag that and may deny treatment more, and employers won’t want to hire you.
