I've noticed this attrition in old SSDs sitting in the retirement box. If you have old backups on them, power them up periodically.

Looking for a left handed ergonomic mice for large hands is a huge pain in the butt. If anyone has any recommendations I'd love to hear them. The Evoluent mice were the standard, but it sounds like they're more cheaply made now.

hiya @meredithmeredith.bsky.social! Is there any chance of Signal getting an officially created Flatpak instead of a community compiled one? I install from the Signal repo but a lot of people use Flatpak, and having unknown third parties in the pipeline kind of defeats the security of it.

Been having some luck lately with foods not making me sick. This is huge for someone who has IBS so bad it's effectively disabling. Time to start keeping a list again, though in the past foods that made the safe list would eventually be triggers again, making the whole process frustrating.

Dozer has dental chews that he absolutely loves. He'll chew them or hide them all over the house.
I threw one for him and it landed on end and stayed upright.
And he didn't know what to do. Normally he'd have grabbed it. But standing up like that made him very wary.
