Actually, I think the last time we spent it with a family was 2015? Maybe even 2014 because we moved out of walking distance from them. Maybe. So fuzzy now. It could have been up to 2019, though. I'll have to ask Dave. @Th0rvid (Maybe tagging doesn't work here).

I haven't felt truly Christmasy in close to a decade. We used to spend it with a family, but they since divorced. Before that, I helped an ex (baby daddy) put decorations away, & that still felt like Christmas. I wanna say 2011. I was expecting and didn't know it. Then, well, you know what happened.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. Forced obsolescence. I haven't put up a tree or lights in years even though I bought some lights a year or two ago, and they're sitting in the coat closet. Everything else is in the shed! 😅

Yours can't be used without the lights?

I have a tree that I haven't put up since 2008 if you want it. Unlit. I forget when I got it. You're welcome to it. Should still be good.
