It is a very PG-rated occupation for a kids movie. Most of what we do see is the occupation destroying a bunch of wildlife, droids being told to flush out the Gungans and destroy them all, tanks and armed vehicles surrounding the city, etc.

I think the funniest thing about this is Jar-Jar was also practical to a point. Ahmed Best wore makeup and a costume for everything except his head so he could do his scenes with the other actors!

I know this is extremely "UM, ACTUALLY-" but this isn't even "may as well have been". Luke never shows any empathy to the Emperor, his empathy towards Vader is outwardly called out by others, and his whole character conflict in resolving that revolves around him resisting the urge to kill them both.

this game is such a great hidden gem when I found out about it on emulation over a decade ago. It's also hilarious it allows BIG HEAD MODE for such a serious political thriller narrative game!

Uh yeah dude, 18 games in 20 years is a production cycle I WISH some IPs would get the love and attention of. Like even if you only count "mainline" Kirby games that's still like.... 8, 9, 10?? Depending on how you count some of these. Kirby gets milked almost as hard as Mario does, come on now.

even when these games were at their best, they still weren't that good. but it sucks more now because their whole idea was so misunderstood by both the creators and the fans.
