Given the stupid money that Japanese strokers fetched these days, $2.5k seems quite reasonable for what appears to be quite a shiny one.

Should have gone the whole hog with plunger rear suspension, rather than that bloody stupid arrangement. Otherwise, not a bad take on 1940s styling.

It really illustrates how thick most of them are, that they don't seem to realise that artists, in general, skew heavily left of centre/progressive.

ISTR the early turbos always being blisteringly fast in qualifying, and disappearing over the horizon in the early stages of the race, only to inevitably expire in a cloud of expensive blue smoke at about half distance.

Probably not, but I would have thought that, with reasonable design, the parasitic load could be kept fairly minimal. Low enough, at least, to not lunch the battery for any reasonable* length of time standing idle.
*Definitions vary, but how many newish vehicles stand for longer than a month or two?

Not if the 12V is something like a decent LiFePo4. In which case, it shouldn't lose charge any faster than the main traction battery.

Dunno about the other 3, but the whole classless society thing is bollocks. Maybe it was the case once (though I doubt it), but contemporary Australia has a *far* more rigid class/clique system than, say, the stuffy old UK we all make fun of.
