I used to spend so much time on Reddit learning about things and doing research but it just become unexplainably rubbish really quickly.

I can’t even begin to articulate the amount of amazing tangents I ended up on as a result of well informed community and comments

Context collapse is (in my personal opinion) why I think we would be much better suited going back to forum style social media as opposed to mass social media.

Go find whatever info you want, but without explanations & community discussion the odds of you coming to a reasoned conclusion are slim.
