Well. You’ve got a lake. Nice thing, if you can keep it. 1/2 mile of levee. Subject to assault by beavers, muskrats and, now, Nutria. Bummer. A burrow levee breach can cost up to ten grand to repair. And a year to recover the water. Makes one think of getting gators. But They’re hard on dogs &kids.

Remember when Trump called off trade negotiations with Canada because of a truthfully factual ad that featured Ronald Regan explaining how tariffs are awful? I can't tell you how pleased I was to see the entire ad aired during the World Series game last night. Yay!

I saw on the evening news that don trump had a cabinet meeting. I looked at those in attendance and didn't see enough sense to make change for a dollar.

I am so not on board with my tax dollars ($200m, est.) going to build a "Golden Ballroom" at the "People's (White) House". None of the "anyones" who will be invited to attend an event there will have paid even a penny. Those of us, who have paid the "pennies", will ever set foot in it.
