I feel like it's appropriate to be very pissed and unforgiving when revolutionary energy is squandered. It's betrayal and you're right to critique me a bit for not putting in enough qualifiers in those first couple of posts.

NYC CPUSA sucks especially badly, also, so that does not surprise me at all. Too many Dems still control things up there.

Yeah, I'm not advocating for blind trust of soc dems here, just pointing out that some chapters still get good things done, even if they're under the radar (and hopefully they plan on building better orgs). A lot of places are starting from nearly nothing, and they need some way to just meet people.

I want to clarify something after another person very bluntly quoted me: It is also good to try to look for revolutionary orgs that aren't social democrats (definitely avoid CPUSA) before looking to DSA, to build better orgs and a revolutionary party.

Otherwise, a lot of y'all's chapters are great.

And I do resent the org as a whole for having no control over people like Sanders or Ocasio Cortez, who are certainly collaborators and examples of the dangers of trusting social democrats.

I am not in DSA (see bio)... I support people who are in it, trying to push left, especially in the caucuses with more revolutionary aims. They still don't do democratic centralism (at least not very well lol) but that also means there's a lot of variation from one branch to another.

Good point. There's a strong case for joining up with DSA to actually push them left, or at least to get things done within their more non-socdem pro-revolution caucuses unless someone can find a place in a revolutionary org poised to unite with other revolutionary orgs. Dems are a waste of time.
