this is my approach esp to art and it sucks sometimes bc i might REALLY dislike what i drew but putting it out there is both for me to remember I did it and for the people who might find it one day and really like it even if I dont

the fear of being ooc / wrong when making little aus is best combatted with the knowledge that if someone hates it they can just block me to never see my takes again

and that if theres even just a single person more out there who likes it, they deserve to have it too

Those who stick around with you the longest through the good and the bad are the real friends that you should value.

It's their loss if they decided to end your friendship without giving a reason, don't beat yourself up about it you will find better friends who appreciate you. 💜💜

I'd also like to add to the sentiment that you should value the people who show up. The people who make every effort to show they value you and your friendship, that they'll make time for you. Doesn't have to be someone you've known for years. If they step it up, value them.

If they stick by you through the good & bad & ugly, if they put in the effort and they inspire you to put in the effort, if their actions to you say and reaffirm "you are important to me, I will show up for you, our friendship is important to me too", value those people.

They don't have to be perfect. Nobody is. But the people who make the effort, as much as they reasonably can, who consistently show you that you and your friendship MATTER, they're the people you need to value, because they've shown they value you.
