A animal intelligence science nerd by night and a therapist by day. Mostly ocean life related, but also I believe in sentience for Primates, Octopus, sharks, and Elephants (to start with). Forest Bathing too.
NYT's sad attempt to sensationalize Octopus migration. As if it's saying: "How Dare the Octopus interrupt human beings from pillaging the ocean for that $."

I just don't understand why people think they have the right to do, hunt or go wherever they like when it comes to the ocean. #octopusrights

Texas officials are shifting blame because they were asked directly why they didn’t order evacuation.

It’s hot. For us, for them.
Set out a shallow dish with pebbles for bees and butterflies.
Leave a shaded bowl for squirrels and birds.

This feels like a new low for Shark Week. Whatever happened to shark science?

So yeah I joined mostly due to avoiding tech oligarchs like Musky, and Zuckerbergish, but I think that Blue Sky is pretty cool and love the positive vibes. Btw I have lots of positive psychology training but whatevs.
