The current ASM run has been pretty enjoyable? Kelly is hitting his stride with it and being able to launch the title fresh after following Wells and the Doom tie in has definitely helped. The art is fantastic and the last few pages of the new issue had me weepy :)

Hush is a great introduction to Batman imo, but reading in recently in a chronological run of Batman it’s tone and pacing feels so awkward by what comes before and after it. Loeb stories feel better standalone imo. Hush isn’t nearly as bad as some pretend but the opposite is true too.
