It's annoying not knowing what's in the image, right? ☹️

Add alt text so that blind and partially sighted people can enjoy your festive pictures too.

It's super easy to add: head Advanced Settings > Accessibility > Write alt text” and click done!

We’ve united with @Scope and other charities against cuts to disability benefits.
Together, we’ve published an open letter to the Chancellor urging the government to safeguard them.

Make your New Year’s resolution to add Alt Text to your Bluesky posts… it helps people who need it and it’ll make you feel good - promise!
This app is great at prompting people to add #AltText image descriptions for #blind & #PartiallySighted people

If you don’t add a description, people like me who are blind have no idea what your photo is of

It’s the equivalent of this photo I’ve posted, it tells you nothing.

Please add alt text!

Alt Text! Use it… please.
19 million @bsky.app users? Better make sure they all know about the handy alt text reminder! 🫡

Go to Settings > Accessibility and make sure "Require alt text before posting" is toggled on.

We love that accessibility is such a priority here.
