But then, legality of anything doesn't seem to matter any longer with this administration.

Zelensky lands in Miami. Not a single US official is on hand to greet him. In the language of diplomacy this send an unequivocal message of coldness and hostility. Compare it with the lavish pomp and red carpet shown to Putin when he landed in Alaska a few weeks ago.

Donald Trump’s political comeback made him feel like he’s invincible. In April, Ashley Parker and Michael Scherer reported from inside a White House where loyalty is the most important credential:

Flashback to 2020—

On December 19, Trump tweeted, “Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!”

Almost overnight, the cheapest room in his D.C. hotel on that January evening surged from $476 to $1,999.

I need you to listen to and share this story - of how Trump is preparing to abandon Ukraine in exchange for Russian money for his billionaire friends.

It could be the greatest corruption of American foreign policy in our history. Russia gets Ukraine. Trump's friends get rich.

Republicans use the "I'm not familiar with that" dodge several times a day now, and if a reporters or anchor isn't ready and willing to shut them down as soon as they try it, that means they're either incompetent at their job or a willing accomplice to the lies.

Either way, never trust them again.
If they pretend they haven’t heard about the story of the day, end the interview right there.

Funded by DHS using taxpayer funds.

Contracts awarded bypassing normal competitive bidding.

Main recipients include firms closely tied to Noem and her aides.

Ads air on networks including Fox News as part of the DHS campaign.
