Part of being a writer with your friends helping you edit is that they will often tell you that if you kill off specific characters, they will quit, which will lead you to reassure them that certain characters do, in fact, have plot armor.

Humans have always, and hopefully will always, be silly lil guys. Going back thousands of years there's evidence of dick jokes, petty grievances, love letters, toys for kids, tinkerers, dreamers. It unites us all through our past.
