As a sibling of a narrator I’d say they were unusually well behaved, reliable and responsible as children so got the big gig. So possible those levels of responsibility stretch into adult concerns about the planet??

For it is only by being resolute in be face of this illiberal and misconceived claim that there will be any chance of a satisfactory outcome.
