NO SEE thats part of the problem entirely!!! transportation is fucked dude. The cost is a legitimate barrier, thats not an excuse its a part of the design.

Ur trying to find smthn that works in a system that discourages you doing so, and that effort i promise will pay off in time.

The best i can suggest actually is community outreach programs? Sometimes u can make connections while also helping ppl. I havent had luck here, but i did get to at least help ppl while doing do [:

Its so hard!! Im having trouble finding friends right now myself. Like. Ive made "friends" at work (i unfortunately do place a boundary of not making friends of coworkers bc of the environment, not them) but thats only bc were all there 40hrs a wk together.

U also gotta be able to drive i noticed

Instead of a human connection, we need to make the Best Dating Profiles and have The Most Swipes. Its not natural and ofc its going to result in hookups only, nothing substantial

Our age group is smack dab in the middle of this mess, which has made dating virtually impossible. Its not u!!

Dating has become so hard bc the "traditional" way of meeting ppl in public shared spaces is shrinking in availability. Bills are skyrocketing along with how much it costs to go out

Dating apps have commodified dating, genuinely, nd thats not ur fault!!

Its a trauma response. Humans are unpredictable and can hurt me really badly. I can trust what an animal means with its body language, they dont have ulterior motives. My paranoia spikes severely around humans, its animals that can break a paranoia episode bc of how they work.

Oh yeah i get called a monster bc i have more empathy for animals than humans which is so funny bc 1 empathy =/= compassion and 2 it takes a lot of empathy to understand a literal different species of organism than you and respect that it communicates differently than you and has different needs
