Trump just said that we in Canada have been treating the US very badly for a long time — thus the 35% tariffs. I thought we had together been a global model of what ‘neighbours’ sharing a border should be. He has disabled the relationship potentially beyond repair. Elbows up. 🇨🇦

I think Trump’s achievement here has no parallel in modern democratic history. He singlehandedly flipped a national election in another country, it’s truly impressive.
