Are you all angry enough yet?
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

Damn you Joni Ernst, Chuck Grassley, Randy Feenstra.
Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

A little girl can’t go to the park with her parents. A mother trembles while taking out the trash. A father peeks through the blinds to see if anyone is watching.

Years earlier, this family faced persecution in Venezuela, but now they’re living in terror in the United States.
They fled Venezuela to escape a regime of fear, only to relive it in Trump’s America

Check your Ring cameras!
Ring just partnered with a shady AI company that is using your security cameras to help ICE spy and go after you and your neighbors.

No, I’m not kidding. Your security cameras are snitching on you.

Call your elected reps!
And the organization I helped create - @wbaidlaw.bsky.social - was at the heart of both whistleblower cases.
This new whistleblower report is on par with the Zelensky call - not just because it’s violative of law - but because they also tried to keep people from seeing it. I’ve been doing this for a long time and this is absolutely explosive news. Impeachable and criminal. Swift accountability must follow.

I think the military has shown us they won’t refuse the order if it comes to that. They’ve been following unlawful orders under this administration already.

But it IS a big deal for the Archbishop to say this.
It’s come to this: “Catholic members of the US armed forces could in good conscience consider disobeying orders to attack Greenland if such orders were issued, according to Archbishop Timothy Broglio, the bishop responsible for the pastoral care of US military personnel.”
Military archbishop: Troops could refuse orders on Greenland
Speaking to Britain's Sunday program on BBC, Archbishop Timothy Broglio reiterated that conscience could permit refusal of an unjust military order.

Who are the Venezuelan immigrants Trump sent to CECOT?

Last July, we published a first-of-its-kind, case-by-case accounting of 238 Venezuelan men who were held in El Salvador.

These are their stories.

I can't imagine MAGA doing anything like this.

It is so whimsical, creative & silly — an awesome way to protest.

Doesn't that look like fun?
I would have loved to have been there!

I hope we can think of something fun like that here in sunny California. 🌞 ☀️ 😎
