Our research, drawing from exclusive case studies in 🇫🇷, 🇳🇱, 🇩🇪 and 🇮🇹 shows the only binding EU framework on spyware exports is not keeping pace. Fragmented national approaches, opaque licensing, weak due diligence & the lack of controls on intra-EU transfers leave major loopholes vendors can exploit.

In the afternoon, we held in-depth workshops on key #DSA themes.

Participants shared experiences, lessons learned and ideas for how civil society and academic experts can continue to support implementation and accountability.
