Piper & Dogmeat are modelling my unique retexture of the baseball cap, made for the Independent Fallout Wiki's 3rd bday :) The wiki is a wonderful place run by a dozen or so good eggs & it is so much more than just a database about Fallout!

ok today is the day I am gonna be brave and try doing some voice recordings and might (gasp) audition! in the meantime here's a WIP - learning substance painter! this is an outfit mashup gift for a friend. need to re-do these laces with proper mask technique so they don't pick up the boot texture

reddit bro: "Doesn’t really fit at all in my humble opinion, Fallout is all about that old Americana spirit, about how the cheery music of the 40s and 50s was a representation of while seemingly happy and full of life, underneath was rotten corruption and warmongering and greed. The world fell because right before the bombs dropped everything was falling apart but everyone tried to act like everything was fine. You even see this in the first scene of the show with the birthday party. Fallout is about a retro-futuristic 50s world that died because even as it was bombed those happy tunes kept playing as if to say “golly gee! Survived (no)thanksgiving with the in-laws so I can have a new video game. as a treat.
The CRPGs I grew up on were Fallout 1 & 2/Tactics and Neverwinter Nights and I last played those many years back. I really haven't played any other heavy hitters in the genre so we'll see how I like it!
