Beware. One of the main reasons that Trump was successful in getting elected is because of the way he talks. The majority of adults in the US are only able to read at an 8th grade level. He speaks their language but, importantly, he speaks it at their level of comprehension.

nothing about us without us
Also, any other quality you think is important in an interviewee is almost certainly not mutually exclusive with being the marginalized people you are talking about. For example, you can give time to autistic parents of autistic kids, autistic scientists, autistic educators, and so on.

It’s relevant to note that @npr.org gets funding from (airs commercials for) Autism Speaks despite the Autistic Community *repeated* complaints for *years* so NPR has a well established history of platforming Non-Autistic (Allistic) voices over Autistic ppl regarding Autism
@npr.org for every minute spent talking to a non-autistic person about autistic people's needs, you should be giving at least 2x that amount to actually autistic people— & not just in written stories, but on-air.

Apply said rubric to any other group under attack right now for their lived realities.

Canadian nationalism has been associated with progressive left leaning sentiment since at least Trudeau Sr’s Liberal cabinet in the 70s. When the USA goes right, CAN voters dig heels in left. Anyone thinking a turnaround from a Con lead to Lib is “doing the impossible” should look closer

The framing of what happened by certain so-called publications & officials betrays a total lack of understanding of how a judge runs regularly scheduled proceedings & are banking on the public not knowing. Signed, v tired paralegal & ex small town newspaper court beat reporter.
I have read the complaint here. I believe that a careful reading of the statutes charged here means that even if we believe everything stated in this affidavit (and I do not), the judge is innocent of the charges.
Here is the federal complaint filed against Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, along with the supporting FBI affidavit: storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
