Beware. One of the main reasons that Trump was successful in getting elected is because of the way he talks. The majority of adults in the US are only able to read at an 8th grade level. He speaks their language but, importantly, he speaks it at their level of comprehension.

It’s relevant to note that @npr.org gets funding from (airs commercials for) Autism Speaks despite the Autistic Community *repeated* complaints for *years* so NPR has a well established history of platforming Non-Autistic (Allistic) voices over Autistic ppl regarding Autism
@npr.org for every minute spent talking to a non-autistic person about autistic people's needs, you should be giving at least 2x that amount to actually autistic people— & not just in written stories, but on-air.

There’s always an American around the corner of Canadian politics there to assure us they’re Not One Of The Bad Ones. Do something impactful in your local area instead of differentiating yourself as not having voted for Trump or MAGA policies.
