Am I bad for thinking Pottersville would be a cool place to go for a weekend?

Maybe it’s just my personal bubble of news but I don’t see to many stories this year about the “War on Christmas”

Like, no stories about the local atheist community trying to block a nativity scene in front of a small towns city hall lawn.

Nothing like sitting down to a nice family Christmas dinner!

DC should really do a big "DC Finest" sized paperback of some of it's best Christmas themed stories. The last time they did that was back in 2000 and it's one of my favourite trades they ever did.

It's very weird to think it's ten years of The Force Awakens and the Disney era of Star Wars. It's funny to think that each trilogy had it's best movie in a different entry.
Best Prequel=Revenge of the Sith (3rd)
Best Original=Empire Strikes Back (2nd)
Best Sequel=The Force Awakens (1st)

I am not at all familiar with the Dick Tracy comic strips from the 1940’s collected in the DC Treasury. And to say I was shocked at the level of violence on display is an understatement. It’s no wonder kids and adults thrilled to these exploits of “the world’s most famous detective.”

Made the mistake of trying to remember the name of an X-Men podcast hosted by two trans women called something like "The Ex-Men" and when I googled that name it gave me "TOP 10 PODCASTS FOR DIVORCED MEN".

Supergirl feels like she should be as popular a character as Sailor Moon and the fact she isn’t is a real conundrum.

I’m sure the answer is sexism.

Just some summer action figures pictures. It’s very snowy today and I’m feeling nostalgic for summer.

Good on Penn Jillette. Having to come to terms with your entire political identity and philosophy being wrong is not easy and most people could never do it.

The Polar Express is such a confusing movie. On the one hand I think it has incredible art direction, some genuine thrills and a lot of heart (carried by Tom Hanks performances).
On the other hand...those kids STILL look weird. And it drags in the third act.

Trump nods off while being told he’s the only person on planet earth who can stop the war.

Stop debating what is a Christmas movie and just accept the reality of The Holy John Candy Holiday trinity:
>Planes, Trains and Automobiles = Thanksgiving 🦃
>Home Alone = Christmas 🎄
>Uncle Buck = St. Patrick’s Day ☘️

I remember seeing the anime movie Angels Egg back about 7 years ago and to this day I still don't know what it means but it's one of the most haunting and beautiful things I've ever seen.

Remember back in the day (25+ years ago) how there would be adults who didn’t own a TV in the house?
And it wasn’t a financial problem, they just didn’t believe in it.
I think that’s a way for people to start going but with the internet.
