Spent the morning starting the process to turn this lot into a massive community garden that'll feed so. many. people. I wish I got an after shot but I'll be back. Physical work kept my mind off the shit storm that is... everything else.

I went to Italy in the fall to learn about wood firing in a train kiln and fell in love with the process. This piece has no glaze, all the color came from the wood ash and atmosphere of the kiln.

Anyone know where I can do more a little closer to home (DFW)? #woodfired #pottery
