Do we need to have it written to know...? We know who ruled how.

People cheat because it's easier than putting in the work. I don't understand why anyone would defend them...

He has a long thread about why this isn't true, either...🙄

She kinda sucked for that, too!

Absolutely not. This is how you get entire arguments about how both parties are the same. If a trash member of your caucus is identified, you launch them into the Sun and move on to the next.

Politics. Is. Performance. Leadership getting behind immediately and rallying the troops is worth something. What you are advocating is another slow walk of something important. Garland tried that bs and look where it got us. War criminals in the cabinet.

And even IF it goes nowhere. Politics is performative! The Rs get this so much more. Most feckless centrist Dems simply can't conceive of this fact.

Eh, almost every tipped worker I know was against it, too. I thought it was the right policy, but they actively disagreed, and ultimately that's on them...

“Strong floor, no ceiling” is absolutely the type of slogan that a focus group of swing voters will tell you they find appealing after it has been a whole hour and they just want to go home.

It’s a slogan for people convinced this country *really* wants a Mike Bloomberg presidential campaign.

...most of the Democratic Party in the 30s loved Jim Crow in the South and had no issue with de facto racism elsewhere. The party is leagues more progressive now than then

"The cuts have deepened existing mistrust in government, known colloquially as Appalachian fatalism, yet many of those interviewed...blame Washington politics generally rather than Trump." Gods, they really are the dumbest ppl on the planet.

To be fair, some "caved" because they like the project his administration is striving for. The universities are the most infuriating cowards to me.
