I mean, they gutted all taxation of themselves, consolidated control of almost all media to successfully convince ppl that the civic space was pointless to privatize everything, and have gerrymandered their strongholds into being nigh impenetrable to always win there. Doesn't feel like we're winning

It's not dooming if it's just the truth...in the case of ICE, they absolutely will not have any consequences. J6 folks literally all got pardoned because ~52% of the electorate is a combination of dumb, lazy or cruel.

I think this is a thing that escapes most people about third party politics lovers. Ultimately, the choices in policy come down to yes or no decisions in a ton of cases. And a two-party system whistles things down to basically the two viable choices, in theory.
