i really is something that the powers that be REALLY want people to pop out kids but then stare you dead in the face that they cant give you 15 dollars an hour min wage. When its already nearly if not already impossible to survive on YOUR OWN with the current min wage....or even 15 an hour!

I promise you, your brain will love you a lot more for putting in the work of creating. The euphoria of doing something YOURSELF is far more satisfying than getting an AI to half-ass it FOR YOU—you can easily half-ass something yourself and still do a better job than AI did.

Literally a skill issue.
AI looks like shit, reads like shit. Using it actively hurts your brand, even if it was 100% ethical, without stolen creations, without boiling the oceans and poisoning the air.

the dev edit phase now. I hope to get it released next year but that just depends on *gestures to everything outside*

After that, my plan is really to get the 4th book published by 2028-2030, and Im also considering writing multiple WIPs at once as well, but those arent priority.

i've published 2 novels in the last 5 years, though thats technically because they were republished in 2020. One was only 31K and the other ~50K. Originally published 2018 and 2019 respectfully.

My current WIP has hit 5 years now and its about to hit year 6 of work, but i've started to get into

This is why i feel its just another brand but of the same cloth form of fucky to try and push a AMAB to have kids, because THEY ARENT THE ONES HAVING TO CARRY AND BIRTH IT. Pushing them to PUSH OTHER PEOPLE!!

the pain of going through blocks like that is nothing compared to the euphoria of figuring it out on your own.

Taken me 5 years to write my damn current book and i'll take another 5 years if it means avoiding using AI for it.

Honest to god using it for my creative work at the very least even if it was entirely ethical is like trying to be a chef but instead of cooking a home-made meal i just popped a TV dinner into the microwave. No effort, lazy, and it tastes like shit, bon appetite.

SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
