Almost lastly but not quite lastly, I want to say that as this has been my first series of #Strictly that I've been posting my scores here instead of that other place that used to have the bird logo, and I absolutely feel I made the right decision because of those who have seen and liked my posts.

Karen Carney is the first footballer to win Strictly Come Dancing, and it could not have gone to a better person. Her journey on this show was an inspiring one for all those with spinal problems, and she has shown that you really can do it if you put your mind to it. #Strictly

It's been a wonderful series with a fantastic cast, and that performance showed the best of everyone. Even Ross was in time. Jokes aside, this show is about the story along the way and there were a LOT of journeys that we had that didn't last the whole way. #Strictly

While we continue to vote, obviously I have to put on record my appreciation for what Tess and Claudia have done throughout their time on the show. They have made the cold Winter nights an amazingly cozy and warm experience for us all, and it won't be the same without them. #Strictly

First thing: face MUCH improved. It looks so much more natural and not forced like the first time. Overall, as his ability has improved throughout the series, the technique in this dance has showcased that accordingly.

So it's farewell to Balvinder & Julian. A fantastic first year for Julian, and a real journey through 6 dance-offs but what an amazing dancer Balvinder has become. The final is worse for their absence, though someone had to go. #Strictly
