Not bothering with this bit.
I've gotten the week badly wrong, it was week 10. But the fact it looked like a week 2 is what mattered.

Their successors are going to have very difficult shoes to fill. And the show next year will feel very different. It may even struggle to retain viewers with that difficulty. That's the impact of Tess & Claudia, and we all wish them the best in the future. #Strictly

And Tess has held the floor for over 20 years. She's been here since the start. Part of the furniture. All those types of phrases. But at the same time, none can quite describe the level of professionalism one has to have in her position. #Strictly

And so I return in 2026 to posting about a silly Reality show, with the new series of The Traitors starting on New Year's Day. Part of the appeal of that IS CLAUDIA. The Traitors, and #Strictly, are favourites of all of us, thanks to her.

...but the point is I've learned a lot in that time from this show and such a big part of that for me has been Tess and Claudia's presenting style and skills. I realised through this show that I really enjoy TV competition shows, and now I have outlets on social media where I talk about it #Strictly

So thank you to those people and I hope to see many of this #Strictly community back here next series as well.

A word for the others: George Clarke has blossomed into the most wonderful dancer, and is a well-deserved runner-up. Amber Davies has shown immense resilience in the face of difficulty being in 3 dance-offs, and is one of the best dancers we've ever seen. Congratulations to both. #Strictly

Ellie's golden personality, Harry's athleticism, La Voix being La Voix, Balvinder the Queen that she is, Lewis's talent, Jimmy as Prince, Vicky being pleasantly surprised at every mark she gets no matter if its as low as a 4, this has been truly iconic. #Strictly

And as for Carlos, I have NEVER gotten self-centred vibes from him. He does not need to worry about that. But if that is the self-improvement that he can take from it, then who am I to say otherwise? He IS one of the best pros in an incredible field. #Strictly

This has been an amazing journey for Karen, overcoming her spinal issues as much as was possible to do so. Through it, she has become a phenomenal dancer, through both ballroom and Latin. I've said this about the others already, but if she wins, it would be VERY well deserved. #Strictly

If anything, this routine showed the one strength the showdance did not: the ability to carry a powerful and dramatic themed dance. This is a really good showcase across tonight's final, and if the public agrees, George would be a VERY worthy winner indeed. #Strictly

In tribute though as it's her last dance, I have to say Amber is one of the best we've had in #Strictly history and nothing will ever take that away from her. She can be very proud of that.
