International Ecommerce UI/UX/Creative Director. I design things — sometimes they look nice.
One thing I have definitely outgrown is the idea of laughing at the 'lolcow' online (Chris-chan, etc.). Usually these individuals have some sort of disability or struggle that makes it rough to openly mock.

Scott Adams was not that. He was the zenith of weird online guys to laugh at without remorse

Obligatory image. None of us can ever truly leave.

All but one in my suburban/rural town in Northeast Ohio are gone. The last holdout is a ‘Veterans for Trump!’ flag.

My sister’s goldens love Christmas for this very reason and are thrilled there are three kids’ worth of presents to ‘recycle’ the wrapping paper of.

I had two old, biker dudes sit behind me at a restaurant yesterday when they started talking politics. Was surprised when one said, ‘Sure I don’t like people here illegally but they’re not bothering anyone. ICE are out there shooting moms.’

Very strange bedfellows in this fight.

This proves God is a Sword & Shield main. The Lord loves those that can land optimal Perfect Rush combos.

An absolute power-pop masterpiece.

Was at a restaurant the other week with my mom when I realized the person in the booth behind us was trying to explain the *entire* lore of Kingdom Hearts to whomever was sitting across from them.

Godspeed for what surely amounted to a 4 hour dissertation.

I put out a job listing for an Entry/Junior-level UI/UX/Graphic Designer on LinkedIn and received a flurry of *real* applications, all but one being out-of-state. That's how brutal the market is in my scene.

Out of general curiosity, do people ever reply back acknowledging they incorrectly read your name? I imagine there has to be, like, at least one or two that eventually realize they're wrong.

Why can't these dweebs just get into Warhammer or Civil War reenactments; that way they can be the 'MUST BE LORE ACCURATE!' people who everyone else in the community thinks are weirdos.

This way they're self-contained and harmless to everyone else while still being able to whine about dumb slights.

So much better trained than mine. I swear my dogs psychically know only to answer to me if I am standing near the biscuit container.

I envy your mental fortitude with those Nerds gummy clusters. Those will last all of 5 seconds around me.

To this day, my biggest life regret was not taking the giant N-Gage display + attached working unit the Gamestop next to my mall retail job was throwing away. I legit saw it at the dumpster but was too nervous to come back later and pick it up. If only for the novelty of owning the dumb thing.

When Red/Blue came out Stateside, I didn't care about anyone other than Bulbasaur. Screw Pikachu and the rest, I had my little green boy.

Flash forward 30 years later and my old ass is still watching my favorite son's final evolution be consistently competitive in pro Pokémon tournaments.

Once I realized the sheer scope of bot networks flooding social media with any sort of divisive content, seeing these sorts of asshole posts doesn't bother me as much. Sure it bothers me that *real* people no doubt feel this way, but knowing a significant majority are bots/paid makes me feel better.

What I find fascinating is the tonal change of Noem from this morning to now. Still defending ICE but being much more careful with wording.

The fact Homan is refusing to state anything until an ‘investigation’ shows the internal fear this may continue to escalate and affect their base’s opinions.

I have a number of moderate-Republican acquaintances who are feeling the same way. Some are voting Democrat while others are simply *not* voting (which I'll take as a slight victory).
