About 18 years ago, back when I actually did illustration work, I was drawing and writing 'Prof. Beasly's Beastly Beastiary' as a kid's book pitch. There's been a billion titles like this since then, but maybe one day I'll get back into it (did all this on an old Intuos + Photoshop).

My exact same thoughts. It felt like multiple core plotlines were going on but only one (Chris/Harcourt) relationship got resolved. It came across, unfortunately, more like a setup for Superman 2 in many ways. Shame as the acting *was* phenomenal at times!

Doing a little victory lap right now. A few months back Games Workshop released a new Warhammer 40k board game for Target and Barnes & Noble. People eventually realized this $40 game contained a $170 set of minis. Amidst all the scalpers, I somehow lucked my way into acquiring this huge discount.

In my case I’ve been trying to be more personally proactive in swearing less (got littles on my family so I can’t be busting out ‘cunting hell!’ by accident). This sometimes leads to me typing up sillier insults through practice.

I won’t ever say ‘H-E-double hockeysticks’ as that is fucking dumb.

I don't think anyone here knows the struggle I have watching this. It is taking all of my effort not to stop the video every three seconds, take yet another screenshot and share it with my friends while yelling, 'WATCH THIS!'

It’s wild to see how North America culturally-progressed in dealing with Japanese media. From Pokemon in the 90’s with its fear of Satanic panic and evolution ideas to today when one of the biggest summer blockbusters was a Demon Slayer movie.

Total Warhammer 3 is cool because my super high-end, custom-built gaming rig can run AAA-titles at the Ultra setting, but randomly opening a static menu in this game can crash my entire computer.

Indeed. We still hit some outlandish gems like the Statue of Liberty turning into a devil weapon, but like you said the paneling and layouts are very dull with an especially excess use of repeating panels.

There are definitely still a few holdouts here in rural Northeast Ohio, but as a whole people have stopped praising Trump on their lawns/cars. We only have two homes in our more… ‘redneck-y’ area of town that fly Trump flags. Everyone else took theirs down after years of promoting his first admin.

100% and I’m glad I’m not crazy for feeling this way! Also the art, as a whole, has really gone downhill. Even static compositions are a blurry mess of loose inking.

I have a Qanon family down the street from me. Their house was decked out in giant Trump flags, effigies of him and insane billboards calling for Trump to be named the new Pope.

Over the summer, once Trump pulled the ‘who cares about Epstein stuff?’ that house took EVERYTHING down in one night.

Absolutely. I loved the shift to Asa initially and having Denji be, like, this nightmare figure devils are scared of. However this quickly shifted back to Denji who immediately got stuck repeating the same cycle of, ‘I’ll listen to the hot lady that wants to kill me’ that was resolved in Part 1.
