Is hell freezing over?

For context: Keosauqua is in one of the reddest counties in #IA01. It's a pretty long drive from any large city and not part of any major Iowa media market (it's in the Ottumwa/Kirksville MO market).

I'm not able to attend. Hope someone records this.

@chuyplaysntdo.bsky.social, I'm still subscribed to your Animal Crossing podcast, and I was happy to see a new special episode appear in my podcast feed. 😊

FYI if you have a Spotify membership, Indivisible is asking people to cancel until they stop running ICE recruitment ads. Instructions on how to do it here: www.youtube.com/shorts/TKp7c...

OK folks, here's the deal. Spotify is running ICE recruitment ads and has ignored asks to stop. It's time to tell them we won't stream fascism - by cancelling our subscriptions. Here's how to get started: indivisible.org/cancel-spotify

I almost feel like I should apologize for posting a lot about politics, but I am frankly disgusted and horrified by the immense amount of evil, corruption, and cruelty coming from the U.S. federal government. I am ashamed to be a U.S. citizen and want to eventually move to a different country.

An important conversation. We all need to work together to resist the evil federal government and try to protect vulnerable people.

Google is also running horrible ICE recruitment ads.

Google is doing the opposite of their former "Don't be evil" motto.

Google is harder to boycott than Spotify, but maybe I'll eventually be able to disentangle myself from their ecosystem.

There need to be consequences for Spotify running ICE ads. I've never subscribed to Spotify and I never will. They rip off artists and get paid to advertise a terrorist organization. BOYCOTT SPOTIFY!

It's crazy to me that Animal Crossing Crocs cost $84.99 and the game itself (Animal Crossing: New Horizons) costs $59.99.

I will NEVER forgive the U.S. federal government (& the individuals within it who continue to perpetuate harm) for its countless inhumane acts.

I look forward to joining millions around the world tomorrow to peacefully protest the despicably evil Trump regime. This is simply intolerable.

My spouse is no longer eligible for a Federal Pell Grant, but our income did not significantly change between their previous FAFSA application in March and their most recent application this month. This seems sketchy and related to the corrupt Trump regime gutting the Department of Education.
