I get that educators need to fight for their jobs and departments, embrace tech and stay relevant to sell seats.
I am not sure educators always think things through from the perspective of a self employed artist though.

I have lots of questions and concerns. I love learning libraries and boneyards in institutions and I guess the goal for this is to increase accessibility. It is cool to flip the object around on my screen. It’s the downloadable files that give me pause.

It is my understanding that he has been asking permission but not always before the object scans were posted and available for downloading. Not sure if every artist represented has given permission. I know some have.

I won’t be at NCECA this year, but Red Lodge Clay Center will have some of my pots in their gallery at the EXPO Center, along with many excellent artists.

This user interface in BlueSky feels foreign to me and I am a bit lost finding my way around, but I’m not forcing it. Still bouncing around from IG to Facebook to Threads to BlueSky and not posting much on any of them!

Oh wow, I love seeing this painting. Totally exciting and engaging like your ceramics. I’d love to hear your thought process on 2D vs your sculptures—particularly how you decide to divide up spaces visually.
