#WorldTheatreDay 🎭 The Great Theatre of Ephesus is a massive, well-preserved theatre built into the side of Panayir Hill. Construction started in the Hellenistic period and saw expansions during the Roman era. It had a capacity of 25,000. An earthquake damaged the theatre in the 5th century AD.
