It’s against their current BBC News style guide to write a slur towards trans women like this.

Note they don’t use “cisgender” because it can cause offence, so they certainly shouldn’t be using “trans identified male”.

Here it is... the smoking gun that should bring down this entire EHRC committee.

I will never get over just how unimpressive Baroness Falkner is whenever she is called in front of the Women and Equalities Committee.

She's utterly shambolic every time.

I have drafted a template letter which you can send to the Women and Equalities Select Committee and the Joint Committee on Human Rights, concerning the proposed appointment of Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson as the new head of the EHRC.

Please share widely.

The journalist who wrote this is also name checked in the song itself, so writing an article about the song is a subtle humble brag 😄
Oh thanks fuck

"The song was written in response to last month’s supreme court ruling that the legal definition of “woman” ought to be based on biological sex (a judgement that doctors at the British Medical Association have called “scientifically illiterate”)."

British feminism needs reshaping’: Kate Nash on her new single about trans rights

The British pop musician questions the gender-critical movement in her new song Germ, and argues that cis women need to stand up for the trans community 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The Cass Review gets peer reviewed and absolutely shredded

Cass is the Wakefield of our time. A scandal in broad daylight

Just out! Our peer-reviewed critique of the Cass Review has been published by BMC Medical Research Methodology. Please read and share. We show that the Cass Review is fatally flawed and should not be the basis for policy or practice in transgender healthcare.

If you have the means then please donate to this very important legal case for trans people.
Labour's new policy - of humiliating trans people by requiring them constantly to self-identify - we believe puts the UK (again) in breach of its obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights and will seek a declaration of incompatability. goodlaw.social/0r6l

I assume it has been pointed out that BBC News deleted the mention of the removal of restrictions on “immigration, gender and gender identity” from their online article about Meta updating their guidelines.

I wonder why? 🙄
