Science conducts studies to answer questions. Ideology holds that it already has the answers, and doesn’t want to hear anything to the contrary. So ideology abhors anything resembling an actual scientific study.

ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants

I’m not an expert as Mr. Boot is. However, in my amateur opinion, the explanation for the apparent shift is money. Once Putin finds a way to increase the bribes to the level Trump wants, we will be back on Russia’s side.
Putin still hopes that his army can defeat Ukraine, and he is willing to risk his relationship with Trump in order to give his military time to advance. Yet, despite the numerical advantage that Russian forces possess, there is no indication that they are close to a breakthrough. bit.ly/459TzBh

The Supreme Court should preserve the status quo until legal questions are resolved and explain the disposition of cases for the public. They are abdicating basic principles of equity and failing to fulfill their institutional role. They aren’t pretending to try. There isn’t even the veneer of law.

My plan to revive American manufacturing is to: raise the price of inputs like steel, aluminum & copper; create shortages of rare earths; generate less electricity; invite retaliatory tariffs; cut R&D; raise borrowing costs by blowing out the budget; and to cover it all in a cloud of uncertainty.
