One of my go-to tricks in games like Breath of the Wild was equipping Link with a particular armor set and weapon while facing in the direction I wanted to go next before saving. Days later I'd pick up the game and be like, "... Why am I wearing Zora armor... OH RIGHT I was going to Lake Hylia"

Of course!! You remember my own depression and creative drought in 2022 after we caught COVID. I didn't wanna work on anything personal anymore. Even into 2023 I had to take on commissions just to get by.

Hazel appears pinned under a large gnarled tree root, resting on her tummy and supporting herself on her elbows. She appears to be shaking, biting her lip, a small tear in her eye, struggling not to laugh. Liv has knelt in front of her, and is also shaking similarly, holding her hands out in front of Hazel in an effort to calm her down.
Liv: *stuttering as she speaks* STOP, STOP STOP. I can help you. Just... DON'T. LAUGH.

Both girls are fighting back laughter and failing miserably. Hazel has even thrown her hands to her mouth to keep it shut, struggling not to lose her composure. We can now see what's happening at Hazel's bare feet: thin seemingly sentient roots with forked tips are wrapping around her feet and toes, holding her in place as they drag their tips across her sensitive soles and under her toes.

The struggle to keep from laughing was in vain, as Liv tosses her head back with a powerful laugh, and Hazel releases her hands from her mouth. She seems to be pointing at Liv as the two laugh together, as if explaining that Liv was the reason she couldn't hold back the laughter any longer.
Liv: *through laughter* DAMMIT, AHAHAHAA!!
Hazel: *laughing equally loudly* YOUR FACE!! I'm sorry, ahahahaha~!!

Here are a few #7Eves dev sketches that establish a few lore and character details:

1. Witches typically don't handle alcohol very well
2. Additionally, Liv is a lightweight, and feels "hot" after drinking
3. Liv can't maintain the glamour on her hat if she's too drunk to focus

Last year I was asked if I had plans to have 7Eves dubbed by voice actors. As cool as that sounds, I absolutely couldn't do it without paying these people, and I personally don't see this series reaching the level of popularity that people would just... do that. for fun. That'd be so much work!!

"SEVENƎVƎS" isn't just a fancy title that I picked because it sounded cool. It was very deliberately chosen. It's a palindrome, meaning it reads the same forward and back. It's a mirror, which obviously plays a central theme.

I'm finally preparing to sketch the page where we get The Title Drop.
