A decades old legendary banh mi spot just 8 mins away from where I live (can’t believe I just discovered this place). They have the most heavily sauced banh mi I’ve tasted but not overwhelming, and got good meat and crackling portions.

I remember the funniest thing for me when I visiting shanghai 15 yrs ago our host chatting with driver in Shanghainese and I thought they were talking in Japanese all along and maybe driver is a Japanese. When he helping me with luggage I was super surprised this JP driver speaks chinese so good😭

I FORGOT TO POST but on nyamu’s bday umiri took her to… GINGER ALE SPECIALTY CAFE and apparently it’s a bit more costly than anticipated and her finance’s a little tight so nyamu had to pay for the drinks. oops. ANYWAY, it’s the thought that counts.
