Gotta share my cicada party! This is just a tiny little area. Some people are using shop vacs, but where are they putting them after? I'm not willing to KILL the romance. I will vacuum up when the party is completely over!

Nevermind...just noticed them all over the lawn. Trapped at least one so will see what's gonna kill the grass this year 🙄🌱

Anyone know what these insects are? I ordered Butterfly Weed for Clay from nursery in WI to plant in South where I am, & think these came with it. They don't look like milkweed bugs I've seen before; wanna make sure I haven't introduced invasive species 🌱

My latest nemesis – the brown-headed cowbird. I hate that I like their water drop sound. I can live without it though. Trying to get rid of all the seeds they like best. AND they are protected...not that I could kill one anyway, because ya know...still a little bird. 🪶

My sweet Rosie after playing in the water hose and rolling in the yard. She has an odd little growth on her neck & I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow to check it out. I am beyond a nervous wreck.
