Look at Illinois. Gov. Pritzker has been one of the most vocal against Trump, but his state police are aiding ICE in their illegal raids. In Los Angeles, police assisted federal agents in attacking peaceful protestors on June 14.

Every court Trump is before must take notice of the fact that the litigant has declared that if any court holds up his agenda, he'll declare martial law. That is a threat against these courts and an attempted coercion of federal officials. Just so, media and pols' jobs *require* civil-war protocols.

I do not need to be told that media helped create this problem. Or how many politicians let us down. And I'm a journalist rather than an activist, so no need to tell me to come up with a plan. Trump has said what he'll do, and those entities with a responsibility for responding must act accordingly.

So far, they are correct. Other than a tongue lashing, no consequences have been applied. They know they will lose in court! They are after flooding the zone, traumatizing workers, getting lies out in sound bites and consolidating more power. So far, nothing to them but small gains overall!

Dems need to fight to grow these poll numbers, but Trump and the GOP are outmaneuvering them in media. Schumer and Jeffries MUST facilitate daily press briefings from the Capitol to fact check Trump, provide content for media, control the agenda, and put Trump and MAGA GOP on the defensive.
