I feel like there's always a creeping horror of catching COVID again and making it worse. Being bedridden was the pits.

Seeing people masking makes me feel a little safer and slightly less insane.

Thank you, and keep it up! I'm closing in on 4 years fully disabled with long COVID. With a very strict diet, two medications, supplements, constant PT, and careful activity tracking, I can... consistently manage co-parenting a 1st grader, make dinner most nights if v simple, and write at least 1 hr

Remember, those who aren't disabled are just *currently* non-disabled.

At any moment for any number of reasons, any of us could become disabled or more disabled.

Anyone, anytime.

How we treat the disabled may be how we're treated tomorrow.

You know, speaking as a person in tech, whenever I read posts by a writer or artist being rude about AI I really want to ask them to take a step back, think, and ask themselves “Could I somehow be even meaner?”.

Don’t half-ass this. It is impossible for you to be too negative about AI.

And if you have really low iron, the first couple of weeks after getting it back to normal, you become superhuman.

Function on four hours of sleep? Sure! Lift heavy shit? Witness me!

Doesn't make up for weeks or months of feeling like death, but it's pretty neat.

I really enjoy the way the branches are picking up the orange, too.
