I will every day read a novel with a cover sketched out by an author regardless of skill over a novel with an ai cover. I actually will never ever read a novel with an ai cover. "keep your mental illness to yourself lol nobody needs to know about that" sounds a lot like keep your sexuality to yourself. being open about bipolar/psychosis has improved my well-being considerably. it's made me healthier bc it gave me a pathway towards self-acceptance and advocacy/meaningfulness
