When Corey Booker was Mayor of Newark he joined us at NBC for a Hurricane Sandy Benefit. His security guy was a friend of mine and told me they had been up for almost 48 hours delivering supplies to constituents.

When Corey Booker was Mayor of Newark he joined us at NBC for a Hurricane Sandy Benefit. His security guy was a friend of mine and told me they had been up for almost 48 hours delivering supplies to constituents.
I attended the #rainbowresiliencesummit at WashU over the weekend. The summit ended on a high note with performances and a panel discussion from local trans black women 💖 it was wonderful to hear from local leaders and advocates. Community helps remind us we're not alone during these hard times.
