Who wants to join Donald Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’?
A fledgling club of autocrats, strongmen and monarchs is taking shape as US president tries to recast the global order

There you have it, the Board of Peace is nothing more than a corrupt real estate deal dressed up as diplomacy with the sole purpose of enriching Trump and his favoured cronies.
Trump makes concluding remarks. He says Gaza ceasefire push began because he is “a real estate person at heart, and it’s all about location, and I said, ‘look at this location, on the sea, look at this beautiful piece of property’”.

Why should any decent person or functioning democracy give Trump’s Board of Global Extraction any attention at all?
I’m flabbergasted at how our political “leaders” seem to have lost contact with reality.
This board is merely an extension of Trump’s crime syndicate.

I hope I’m reading this right but something broke yesterday.

Trump backed down after Britain and the EU showed a backbone?

I’d say he was pretty humiliated.

It's such a dumb ahistorical schoolyard jibe, but that's Trump.

It's said he has never read a book.

Not even the ones with his own name on them.

This is a guy who once claimed that the Continental Army "took over the airports" during the Revolutionary War in 1776.

He's very, very stupid.
Trump in Davos, Switzerland:

"Without us, right now you'd all be speaking German".

German is the main language of Switzerland.

Trump presenting a twisted, chauvinistic history of WW2 at Davos. Suggesting US fought for Europe and Denmark out of altruism. Conveniently forgets Pearl Harbour and Soviet competition.

Suggests that Denmark can’t have Greenland because they surrendered to the Nazis.

Yes the more I ponder it the more I think it will be referred to for many years to come as a turning point

There are so many oblique references in it to make his points without naming the actual event or arrangement (Brexit, bad, EU good for example)
