If you're one of the many folks that still needs the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph and plan on buying it in Lemix, do yourself a favour and check if the crystals are up first.

They DO spawn in Lemix - both normal & heroic - and I've yet to see them not up. Spend ~5 minutes to save yourself 20k Bronze.

its scary and frustrating bc they dont need much help PHYSICALLY, but if left alone, could burn down the house because they forgot they were cooking, or end up OD'd.

like sure, grandma can walk a marathon but she thinks its 1952 and doesnt know where she is. doesnt know if she's taken her meds or even remember she needs to, or worse, repeatedly take em cause she just cant remember she did four times already

we've had family members get lost, almost overdose themselves, just flat out not recognize us, think we were trying to hurt them, etc etc.

and sometimes, its VERY hard to convince others they do need help or we're the ones helping them.

one of the scarier and also more frustrating parts of dealing with family with dementia is they can seem entirely normal and fine until the moment they aren't.

physically very healthy and capable, but the mind is warped or gone.
