Except Labour broke an election manifesto pledge. Don't blame the Tories. Don't blame Brexit in particular since Labour is partly responsible for Brexit too and want to make Brexit work. Labour made a promise and they broke it. So there we go.

Unfortunately that is how it feels that Europe is now irrelevant to the peace talks even though it's us that should be leading. We have failed and it feels embarrassing to say the least. The EU as it is isn't working how it should.
