I mean yeah, you can’t totally blame a guy who has damaged the part of his brain that controls his inhibitions. For most people, it’s not really a big deal, but this guy is, yknow, president. So ok, then I blame the people who aren’t keeping him in check. I.e. congress and his cabinet

Trump can take whatever elaborate measures he wants to rewrite the history of Jan 6, but he will never be able to erase what I saw live with my own eyes that day. He can change the laws & the books to try and make people who didn’t witness it live believe it was something else. We know what we saw.
First, Trump pardoned the violent insurrectionists who beat cops.
Now, he pardons the key instigators of January 6th.
We need to see this for what it is:

Ok, I need to come clean. Yesterday, after my wife & I carefully filled out our ballots ourselves, my 3-yr-old daughter stood on a chair and fed each into the scanning machine. We regret using her as a pawn and mule, but we were just trying to show her how democracy works. And get her some stickers

Dick Cheney is a complicated one, obviously. The worst at one point, but somehow respectable in the end. Remember that time he shot a guy and the guy ended up apologizing to him? I feel like no one ever talks about how much that kinda helped set the stage for where we’ve gotten ourselves politically
